Fried Beet Chips

This recipe only takes twenty minutes to make and results in a sweet, crispy snack thanks to the beet. Also, it is very easy to increase the portions if you want more fried beet chips.

Needs

  1. 1 beet
  2. 1 cup canola oil (or any oil)
 

TIME

  1. PREP: 5 minutes
  2. COOK: 15-20 minutes

SERVES

  1. 1-2 servings

Cooking it up

  1. Begin by boiling the beet, to begin softening the beet to allow for easier cooking. Following this, slice the beet(s) into thin chips and fry in a cup of oil (any oil will work). Remove after five to ten minutes of frying and salt to taste.
