Oat Biscuits (More Information)
This recipe is another simple breakfast that takes very little time to make but ends up tasting really good. The main flavor in these oat biscuits are the peaches. When baked, the sugars in the peaches will grow even stronger making them an almost richer tasting sweet flavor.
The oats provide the substance for this recipe - especially given that oats are filling and heavier than other grains. Also, rolled oats are being used in this recipe to make cooking times faster. While other oat varieties can be used, the cooking times will be different. Also other oat varieties absorb liquid differently than rolled oats so more water (or even more peaches) may be required to get the right consistency in the batter.
