Fried Bison Meat Balls

Needs

  1. 1 pound ground bison
  2. 1 cup rice flour
  3. 1/2 onion
  4. 1 cup canola oil
  5. 1 teaspoon baking powder
  6. Salt
 

TIME

  1. PREP: 10 minutes
  2. COOK: 15 minutes

SERVES

  1. 8 bison meat balls per pound

Cooking it up

  1. Mix the ground bison and onions together, forming eight small, equal-sized balls.
  2. Mix together the rice flour, baking powder and salt. Once mixed, roll the bison balls in the dry mixture until the meat is fully coated in a light dusting of the flour.
  3. Meanwhile, heat up the canola oil (or any oil). Once heated, add in the bison balls. Cook for five minutes, flip and then cook for another five minutes.
