Oat Biscuits

This is an easy breakfast biscuit recipe with oats providing the substance and peaches providing the sweetness. Read the recipe details.

Needs

  1. 1 cup oats
  2. 1 cup peaches, puréed
  3. 1 1/2 cups water
  4. 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  5. 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  6. 1/4 teaspoon salt
 

TIME

  1. PREP: 10 minutes
  2. COOK: 15 minutes

SERVES

  1. 12 biscuits

Cooking it up

  1. Mix together the oats, water, cinnamon, salt and baking powder in your mixing bowl along with any seasonings you prefer.
  2. Once all that is mixed together, add in the puréed peaches (about one cup) and continue mixing until the batter is thickened.
  3. Move the batter in biscuit sized clumps onto a baking dish and then bake those for about fifteen minutes at 350°.
