Potato Burgers

Meat and potatoes is a great standard - but why not put the two together in one hamburger? Read the recipe details.

Needs

  1. 1 russet potato
  2. 1/2 pound ground beef
 

TIME

  1. PREP: 10 minutes
  2. COOK: 10-20 minutes

SERVES

  1. 2 burgers

Cooking it up

  1. Begin with slicing the potato (or potatoes) into thick slices. Drop the slices into a cup of boiling water and let cook for five minutes.
  2. Once the potato has softened, chop it fine (or chop in food processor).
  3. Once chopped, mix with the hamburger patty, along with plenty of salt.
  4. After mixing together, press into patties and fry over medium heat for five to ten minutes per side.
