Homemade Rice Cakes

  1. 3/4 cup rice
  2. 1/2 cup water
  3. Salt
 

TIME

  1. PREP: 5 minutes
  2. COOK: 20 minutes

SERVES

  1. 6 rice cakes

Cooking it up

  1. Begin by cooking the rice until done and just a little of the water is left in the pan.
  2. Let the rice rest off the heat for five to ten minutes, or until all the water has absorbed into the rice and the rice has gotten stickier.
  3. After resting, pack into patties. Then fry the patties for 30 seconds per side.
