Thanksgiving Fixings

Thanksgiving with food allergies doesn't have to be a challenge. We've already made turkey, now it is time to make the side dish for our Thanksgiving dinner. Read the details of the recipe.

Needs

  1. 4 cups chicken broth
  2. 2 sweet potatoes
  3. 3 carrots
  4. 1 onion
  5. 2 celery stalks
 

TIME

  1. PREP: 15 minutes
  2. COOK: 30 minutes

SERVES

  1. 2-4 servings

Cooking it up

  1. Begin by boiling the sweet potatoes, carrots, onion and celery in the chicken broth.
  2. After half an hour, remove the celery and all but one cup of the chicken broth. Slowly mash up the carrots, onions and sweet potatoes.
  3. Let rest for at least five minutes before serving, or put in the fridge for half an hour.
