Non-traditional Rice Pasta Spaghetti

Another idea to make rice pasta taste good.

Needs

  1. 2 cups rice pasta
  2. 1 cup broth
  3. 2 tomatoes (one cooked, one fresh)
  4. 1/2 onion
  5. 1 cup broccoli
  6. 1 avocado
 

TIME

  1. PREP: 10 minutes
  2. COOK: 15 minutes

SERVES

  1. 3-4 servings

Cooking it up

  1. Begin by cooking the rice pasta, strain then place back in the pot along with a cup of broth, one tomato, half an onion, broccoli and other vegetables. Let that cook until the broth cooks away. Then mix in avocado, fresh tomatoes and other foods of choice.

Optional Ideas

Ground beef, pork and buffalo also taste good mixed into this dish. When mixing with this in, already have the meat nearly cooked before mixing within the other vegetables and rice pasta. That way the cooking time for the meat doesn't cause you to overcook the other ingredients.

As another option, substitute the vegetables in this recipe for fruits - oranges, pineapples, apples and peaches all taste very good when fried with rice pasta. When doing this, switch to using a fruit juice instead of the broth (for a better taste).
